Completion of 1,761 m of two-way tunnels on Line 2 of the Bilbao Metro between Sestao y Portugalete with two cavern stations and the corresponding access cannons and lift shafts, as well as galleries and ventilation shafts. Excavation of tunnels, caverns and galleries which took place using heavy shearers. The shafts were excavated via raise boring.
