Innovative system in operation of quarries to eliminate waste of blasting materials on the front part of the quarry. It prevents the formation of dust and reduces the generation of fine particles as in the shaft the material behaves as if it is in a silo which is gradually filled as it is extracted from the mouth of the tunnel. The tunnel at the foot of the quarry has a section 45 m² and a length of 50 m. The shaft has a depth of 153 m, a diameter of 4.38 m and an gradient of 73°.
